Welcome to all of the new students on the complex and well done for picking Varsity Apartments to make your life/study mix sooooo much easier.  You will have already survived O week and are now firmly settled in to the daily life in between your apartment and the USC campus.  How good is it that you only live 5 minutes away!  It saves so much time doesnt it being able to roll out of bed

It has been a very unusual O week on the complex for the students.  With government restrictions extending for an extra week we wondered how the students were going to navigate face masks and  toga outfits, but thankfully they seem to be adapting well.  This weeks social calendar has included Manic Monday, Toga Tuesday, Weird Wednesday, Throwback Thursday and Freaky Friday.  Thanks to the Red Frogs for coming onto the complex and helping out all

It’s exam week – how are you all going?  All semester you have been working towards this week – and here it is.  You have been preparing haven’t you; lots of revision, lots of sleep, lots of good food and of course, not too much partying.  The complex is pretty quiet at the moment so you must be all knuckling down and working hard.  Don’t forget that you are not alone in this – reach

This semester’s beach volleyball competition went ahead without any glitches last week.  The Red Frogs came along to help cook up a storm of burgers and snags for all of the hungry students.  The Red Bull DJ played some great tunes all afternoon and the Red Bull ladies were on site handing out Red Bulls too.  The students that had volunteered to run the event were amazing and lots of other side games were organised

We can’t believe it’s nearly the end of Semester 1! Despite the lack of international students on the complex we are 85% full … all with domestic students.  This means there’s a great buzz on the complex with lots of students diving into O week – Toga Tuesday, Wet Wednesday, Twin Thursday, Fairy Tale Friday, Sexy Saturday and Sandy Sunday – all had a great attendance and lots of fancy dressing up.  The Red Frog teams were present and we are grateful for that they

We know how hard it is making a student’s budget stretch so whenever we can, we try and give a hand.  This week we had the fabulous Red Frogs team on the complex cooking up a storm of pancakes.   Students that managed to get out of bed at 10am were lucky enough to get pancakes, berries and icecream served to them, with a side dish of Red Frogs lollies! The exams have finished, the end of semster parties came and went and now it’s Christmas on the complex. For all of those students staying don’t forget to check out the Red Frogs and the USC Student Guild to see what is on over these holidays. Oh it is always a sad time of semester – even with the very strange semester we have had – the time that the students start saying goodbye.  The exams are finished and now it’s goodbye party time.  The End of Semester parties are always bittersweet – great fun but with a twinge of sadness all wrapped into one.  We normally have a small cohort of students that stay over Christmas (which is always nice)
